When it comes to luxury, Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favorite brands. Throughout her career, she has always been about beautiful glowy skin and she has done some amazing looks on a lot of celebrities. Her secret for a healthy looking skin is a natural and glowy base with a filter to it. And this is what the Hollywood Flawless Filter is supposed to do!
The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is a very versatile product that can be applied under foundation or on top of foundation for extra coverage.
I got the shade medium 4 which has a golden undertone that is suitable for medium skintones. The formula is thin and it spreads very easily into the skin. I have a light to medium skintone so I can use this shade to add a bronzy look along the perimeter of my face.
When applied under foundation
It gives a light coverage to the skin and a glowy soft finish . It doesn’t blur imperfections completely but it has a very interesting texture that helps diminishing the look of pores and fine lines.
I prefer to use it with a light to medium coverage foundation on top because a full coverage foundation will cancel its effect.
I’ve also mixed it into my foundation and it works so well if applied this way.
Because the shade is dark for me, my favorite way to use it is on top of foundation, as a glowy bronzer. It blends very easily on top of foundations too without emphasing any texture.
What I like the most about this product is that it doesn’t make the skin look greasy ; it just gives a natural healthy glow. It can be more suitable for people with normal to dry skin . I have very oily skin in the summer and my face gets so shiny after 2 to 3 hours so I can use this product more as a targeted highlighter or as a bronzer.
It’s available in 7 shades and it comes with different undertones. I think I might pick up a lighter shade and use it as a highlighter just on the highest points of the cheekbones.
Unlike many of the highlighters in the market, the Hollywood Flawless Filter is not metallic or glittery. It just adds a glossy and healthy sheen to the skin. It’s such a great product to have !

I am a little confused by this product because I’m not sure if it’s a highlighter or bronzer or primer. LOL! Looks like it’s an all in one and will add it into my ever growing list to buy.
